Eligibility
- A Master’s Degree in Geoinformatics or Master’s Degree in RS & GIS, OR PG Diploma in Geoinformatics with a Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Geography/Computer Science/lT Forestry /Environmental Science/Physics/Mathematics from a recognized university/ Institute by UGC.
- Preference will be given to candidate with prior experience (at least 02 years) of working with GIS software and tools, such as ArcGIS, QGIS, ENVI, and remote sensing applications
- Familiarity with GPS data collection methods and techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in spatial analysis and data interpretation.

- Collecting, analyzing, and maintaining geospatial data related to forest resources, biodiversity, and environmental parameters.

- Assisting researchers in conducting spatial analyses and providing valuable insights for their studies.
- Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to support interdisciplinary projects.
- Providing GIS training and guidance to department staff to enhance their GIS skills and knowledge.
